Solution Focused training can often seem so intent on how we help people in our very first sessions with them, that practitioners can become less certain on what to do when navigating second or subsequent sessions: What am I meant to do? What am I supposed to do? What am I not allowed to do?

 

In this podcast, Greg, Sophie and Ben discuss the potential reasons for this phenomenon and how they approach second and subsequent sessions with clients.

Fred is a Registered Mental Health Nurse and Senior Lecturer at the University of the West of England.

We haven't been together for out podcast for a while so we thought we'd take this episode to catch up on the new course we're running and what we are learning from it ourselves.  Jamie also asks the team whether planning a course has unique struggles to Solution Focused practitioners who may naturally prefer the people they are working with steer the direction of travel.
